DRESS UP AND PRETEND

How do you feel when you're dressed up like a lady-bug, a princess, a pig? Put on different costumes, play some warm up games and act out a part. Ages 3 to 5.

RINCEOIRI DON SPRAOI

A 30-minute introduction to "soft shoe" and "hard shoe" Irish step dancing in full costume with audience participation in a Ceili (party dance) and explanation of Irish dance. All ages.

KIDS' DANCE & MOVE

Author Nicole Hamory of Green Tree Yoga combines yoga, dance & the SOLA Stikk in a program of laughter, dance and artistic expression. Wear comfortable loose clothing; mats and sticks provided. Ages 6 -13. Must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required; limit 30 adults and children.

LET'S CREATE A STORY

Storyteller Holly Robison shares the story of Edgar the Peanut Butter lover and explores different ways to create stories using a story quilt. Children decide who or what the story will be about. They will draw stories on the white board. Everyone goes home with new story ideas and ways to create more stories. Elementary school age.

COOL GLOBES FOR KIDS

An interactive presentation that raises awareness of things we all can do to be more eco-friendly followed by an art handout to remind everyone how they can take care of our "cool globe."

JUST JUMPIN'

Utah's only competitive, nationallyranked jump rope team performs routines that will amaze you to think they are possible. After a 30-minute performance jumpers will work with children to teach them jump rope skills. Kids, teens.

BIKE RODEO

Hey kids, bring your bike and helmet to the Columbus Community Center this summer and join us for an informative free bicycle program. Krisha Pessa, Youth Director at Salt Lake City Bicycle Collective, will teach bike safety skills, including interactive games to develop your cycling abilities. Prizes will be presented to winners.

REPTILE RESCUE

Native reptiles, exotic snakes and lizards, creepy crawly creatures. Get ready to see, touch and learn about these fascinating animals. Reptile Rescue's mission is to save abused, unwanted and orphaned reptiles and educate the public on how to care for them in captivity. All ages.

UTAH PUPPET THEATER

Puppet-making Workshops. Get very creative and be silly.

THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX WITH ERIC HERMAN

Fun songs, inventive comedy, audience participation, including music heard nationally on PBS Kids and Sirius. Whether you are five or 55, Eric will have you smiling from ear to ear, dancing from limb to limb, and laughing from nose to foot. Families.

ORIGAMI - CREATE YOUR OWN TOY, PUPPET & SURPRISE

"The Origami Lady" is back to show you how to turn simple pieces of paper into a toy that teases, a puppet to play with and an idea from your own imagination. School age.

ROCKIN' UTAH

A state park naturalist will reach out and connect kids to nature in a fun, engaging program designed to get kids outside to develop lasting connections with the natural world and help them grow physically, emotionally and mentally. Families.

SHAKESPEARE FOR KIDS

Children act out one of Shakespeare's plays. No advance preparation is required and reading is optional. This program helps instill an interest in the stories and characters and gives children confidence by performing in front of their peers. Ages 5 -12.

KID FIDDLERS RETURN

Performing oldiewestern favorites and current country hits, Kid Fiddlers have entertained across the United States and Europe. Kid Fiddlers play dozens of instruments including fiddle, banjo and guitar. Enjoy the 3-part harmony vocals, clogging and the yodeling of sevenyear old Skyler. Families.
